Kalama Trip

I went on a rock dig to get Carnelian in Kalama, Wa. Here are some of the pictures, notice how wet and dirty I got. The kids had fun and Todd & I worked really hard, we are still sore, but we got some beautiful pieces. We did not find the quantity that we did last time, but each dig is different. I did get messier then usual, lol. Enjoy the pictures. I will be bringing in rough pieces to the shop to sell, perfect for tumbling.

Field Trip to Rose Mae's Private Rock Shop

These are pictures from a field trip that I went on with my rock club. We went to a private rock shop/museum in Washington owned by Rose Mae, she is a very nice lady and we all had lots of fun. I hope you enjoy the pictures after this we went on a dig, but I was too busy digging to take pictures.

Back from Tucson and ready for my show

Ok, I am back from Tucson and I have been unpacking for 3 weeks now. I had a pallet delivered to the shop with my goods, it weighted 1100 lbs. Wow - the shop is totally full of new specimens and I have a bunch I am saving aside for my show this weekend. I will be at the Rock & Gem Show at Pickering Barn in Issaquah, Wa.

Amethyst and more in Tucson

I have been in Tucson for over a week now and still days to go, but I wanted to share some of the wonders that nature has. Here are some of the many Amethyst that you can see when you go to Tucson's many many gem shows. Enjoy.

Two Fantastic Carvings

Ok so I am still in Tucson, but I thought I should share these fabulous carvings that I bought for my shop, Earthlight, Inc. These are marvolous and they will sell fast - one of a kind.


Upclose of the Chyrsoprase carving.










Horses carved out of Chyrsoprase, which is a lovely stone. One of a kind, and gorgeous.



















The last carving is out of Lavender Oregon Opal, the carving is of a sea turtle with two jelly fish and some shells. Gorgeous and large- this is a must see when I get back from Tucson.

Mookaite Jasper at Tucson

I am at the Tucson show in Arizona, I wanted to share with everyone my favorite stone. Mookaite Jasper it is from Australia. Here are some pictures of some rough of it, these are actually huge pieces of rough. Also I added some polished so you can see how lovely it is polished up.
